Deus Ex previewed by shiva Publisher: Eidos Interactive Developer: Ion Storm Genre: Role-playing Deus Ex looks to be one of the top hits of the year, and for good reason. Mix in a futuristic storyline, add a world full of anarchy and secret organizations, and add lots of violent killing, and you have a possible million seller on your hands. In the game, you play the role of UNATCO agent J.C. Denton, a top troubleshooter charged with the job of cleaning up the world of terrorists. A plague has hit the world, and terrorists are preventing the antidote from being delivered. The world's fate is in your hands... can you do the job? And to add to all of your troubles, there's a secret society plotting to take over the world. As you battle and visit different locales such as New York City, Hong Kong, and even Area 51, you encounter many puzzles, which have to be solved. But be warned, there's multiple solutions to some of these puzzles, and your solution to one can affect the entire outcome of the game. The game itself is nothing short of miraculous. With a new and sophisticated AI, and multiple skill levels, this game should be challenging for a long time to come. As well as offering multiple solutions to all the puzzles, the game will feature tons of new features into the game, including the introduction of nano - technology, as well as many other features. Information on this game is a little scarce at the moment, but the game is said to be in the final stages of development. From all appearances, this will be one of the "Top 5" games this year, and is expected to be released sometime this summer. But don't just take my word for it, check out the amazing screenshots in our special Deus Ex Gallery.
