---------------------------------------------------------------------------- What are "pose points"? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Pose points" as they are referred to in this guide are points awarded to a player after a victory. The number of points awarded is shown when the player's character is frozen in a frame of animation as the background changes before the win quote is displayed.
The number of points awarded is based on the frame the character is frozen in at the end of the fight, NOT on whether or not you hit your fallen opponent (unless it affects how the frame looks). There are different ways to get same poses for some; ect, Zangief's grinning pose can be done either through doing his taunt or doing either of his conversions (b,d,db + Short). Also, from what I have observed, the secret characters have the same pose points as their counterpart as long as they have that frame of animation. Since all the secret characters, except for Roll, are just pallet swaps, they'll be listed under their counterpart with the assumption that they have the same poses for the same moves. There are still some unknowns involved, however (like why you don't get points for Zangief's Flying Body Press every time).
In order to receive pose points, one must push the start button and perform some action producing some nice frame of animation to be frozen at the end of the fight. There are no pose points for normal victory stances.

Take this with a grain of salt; my timing is terrible :) .
The timing for freeze at the end of a fight begins when the point totals counting up. At that point you have about 1.3 to 1.4 (?) seconds before the freeze comes. If you had a perfect, the time is much less, maybe about 0.5 second.

I only include poses which I have heard of or which I have confirmed. I would like to include only poses I can confirm, but I have not had the time to go through all of them. Not all of the poses may be right in their points value. Also, I would be glad to hear about poses not listed in this guide. Drop me an e-mail if you know of any or have anything to add to one. =)
Of those poses which I include, I list as much detail about them as I can remember or that I know about. I also included my source for the pose as followed:
(E) Eviltar: The original author of this. These were the ones found in the previous version of this guide.

(E) Hyper Charging Star (qcf + KK) when he is charging; haven't tested this one when he doesn't have his shield
(E) J.Shield Slash (J.qcf + P) when his arm is extended after the throw; all three punches work on this one
(E) Shield Slash (qcf + P) when he draws his arm back after the throw; tested it with the jab and strong buttons
30000 Points:
(G) Shield Slash (qcf + P) idle catching shield animation, shield facing up (Note: Captain America has 2 catch shield animations. He hasn't caught the Jab Shield Slash yet but it probably has one as well).
(E) Hyakuretsu Kyaku (Tap K rapidly) you only get points if you freeze her during a kick?
(G) J.Forward (not sure which one)
(E) Kikou Ken (qcf + P) when her arms are sticking out in front of her
(E) Kikou Shou (qcf + PP) when her arms are sticking out; when the ball of energy is around her
(E) Reishiki Kikou Ken (f + Fierce) when her arms are sticking out in front of her
(E) Sen'en Shuu (hcb + K) when she is doing the splits sitting on the floor
(E) Tenshou Kyaku (f,d,df + K) when her leg is out kicking and her face faces the screen
10000 Points:
(G) Sen'en Shuu (hcb + K) perfect hand stand
50000 Points:
(E) S.Roundhouse frame right before she kicks straight up; when her ass is is sticking way out. This pose inspired [Eviltar] to write this FAQ 8D

(R) Fierce Cajun Slash (f,d,df + Fierce) on the third hit, with the staff not blurred
(E) Royal Flush (qcf + PP) when Gambit has two handfuls of cards before he begins throwing them; there is a couple of frames like this and so far I've only seen one of them work
10000 Points:
(G) Royal Flush (qcf + PP) arms make an X
30000 Points:
(G) Jab Cajun Slash (f,d,df + Jab) streak on the staff
(G) Cajun Escape (Charge d,u + P) streak on the staff
(G) Fierce Cajun Slash (f,d,df + Fierce) in between 2nd/3rd hits
(G) Trick Card (qcb + P) 2/3 frames before releasing it

(E) S.Roundhouse right before Hulk kicks out with his mule kick; he looks like he's standing on his head with his legs tucked in

(R) Beat Plane (qcb + KK) 2 different shots of this that I've have seen, one is of a transparent image of him in the plane, the second is of a white silhouette of him (and only him) in the plane. Do the Beat Plane just after the score comes up.

(U) Rush Drill (qcf + KK) it's tougher than it sounds, since it cancel immediately post-match.
(E) Silhouette Blade (f,d,df + PP) first frame; when her arms are crossed above her head
5000 Points:
(G) Soul Fist (qcf + P) (air?) after-images on her arm
10000 Points:
(G) D.Roundhouse ass towards the screen
(R) Darkness Illusion (qcb + PP) part of it where she is doing an upside down split, I got this by doing the Darkness Illusion about a second after I was able to

(E) Shouryuu Ken (f,d,df + P) when Ryu is sticking up his fist and his back is to the screen; not when he is recovering from the uppercut or when he is getting ready to jump
