Are you making money online? That's a question that you need to ask yourself frequently. Most who have business websites set them up to earn extra money. If you are not succeeding in this goal, you need to identify why and fix the problem. Earning money online is fairly easy.

You offer a NEEDED product and you have to let the right people know about that product.

There are tons of great products out there, and then there are many products for which there is no demand. Make sure the products and services you market are the in-demand ones. Otherwise, you are wasting your time, money and energy. If your product is in demand, you should have fairly good results advertising in ezines.

This is one of the least expensive methods of promotion there is. Too many marketers try too hard to save money, and practice false economy. For example, you can run your ad in many good ezines for under $20. If that ad is for an item selling for $20 with you earning 50% commission, and you get 5 sales from that ad, you have made $30 profit. You have more than doubled your money. Even after you consider the value of your time and equipment you have doubled your money!

If you reinvest those profits in even more ads and at least double your money each time... Well you can do the math. That $20 turns into a moneymaking machine in a short time.

Ezine advertising is the ideal means of adverting in my opinion. However, you should also promote in search engines, free classifieds sites, free for all links pages, in newsgroups, in bulletin board postings, and offline.

My favorite offline promotional method is newspaper classified ads. Another offline method that produces good results with many products and services is posting leaflets or business cards on bulletin boards in businesses, supermarkets, etc.

You should be making real money online. If you are putting in the effort and aren't - then you need to do a serious examination and fix the problem(s). Look carefully at your product and look at your promotional methods.

Don't just keep doing the same thing if it isn't working, and don't stop doing the proven things that are producing orders for you.
