Medieval Madness
Review by Jeromec
One of the coolest pinball of the last few years. Not only is it funny
to play with its excellent voices (keen observers recognized the cast
from Attack from Mars) and its funky graphics but it is also well balanced.
Beginners can score a couple of millions with the modest two-ball multiballs,
while wanna-be experts will spend mountains of quarters trying to destroy
all five castles and kick the King of Paine's sorry ass! There are tons
of secret and not-so-secret multiballs .
The ramps are well-designed and easy to aim at, so cool combos can be
made. The characters voices in the pinball are so cool. There's a maiden
to rescue that's just out of a medieval sorority house ("this is, like,
totally medieval!") while another one goes soprano at the earliest occasion.
Then there is wise Merlin (or was it alzheimer Merlin?) In order to beat
the king of Paine, you'll have to destroy five castles of its vassals
all with memorable lines.
Well worth one quarter or two! daily, I meant!
