A: Version This is Version 4.0 and NOT the final version of the Pokémon Guide. I added a few updates to the chart, added a new question, and other little things. Also, a short walkthrough! And hints! And gym info!
B: Pokéquestions What's Pokémon? The newest craze in video games. You fight and train 150 little creatures known as Pokémon, or Pocket Monsters. It falls into the RPG category. How do I do the é? Hold ALT and press 1, 3, and 0 on the numeric keypad with NUM LOCK on.
C: Pokémon Chart I'll start off by telling each Pokémon, their type, their Japanese name, what version they're in, their evolution, their method of evolution, and their number. (That's a mouthful!)

F: Walkthrough
::::Pallet Town:::: Talk to everybody in town and then try to go out of town. Professor Oak will stop you and you can choose your first Pokémon. Bulbasaur is the best choice, then Squirtle, then Charmander. Then head off to Viridian City. ::::Viridian City:::: Head to the Pokémart. You can't buy anything, but get the package and head back to Pallet Town. ::::Pallet Town:::: Give Professor Oak the package. You will get your Pokédex. BTW, stop by Gary's house to get a map. ::::Viridian City:::: Go back to the store, then buy some Pokéballs and Andidotes. The gym here is strangely empty. ::::Pewter City:::: Here, stop by the Pokémart to get supplies. The next thing to do is beat Brock, the local gym leader. This should be it. Then go to Mt. Moon and Cerulean City. ::::Cerulean City:::: As usual, stop by the store. Then, go beat Misty in the gym. That's all. Then head up the road for Vermillion City. ::::Vermillion City:::: Stop by the Pokémart. Then, go to the S.S. Anne. On board is the captain which you must see and get the HM01 for Cut. Then, you can go to the local gym. Beat Lt. Surge for a badge. Then go to Lavender Town. ::::Lavender Town:::: Don't do anything yet, because you can't identify the ghosts in the Tower without a Scope. ::::Celadon City:::: Stop by the Game Corner, and buy Pokémon and TM50 for Substitute. Beat Giovanni. He will give up the Silph Scope. Go to Lavender Town. ::::Lavender Town:::: Go to the Pokémon Tower, and go to the seventh floor. Free Mr. Fuji and get the Pokéflute. Then go to Saffron City. ::::Saffron City:::: Go to the Silph Co., and run to the fifth floor. Get the Card Key, and then warp from Floor 3 to Floor 7. Free the president, and then get the MasterBall. Now you can go to Fuschia City.
G: FAQ
Question: Hello! You seem to be the expert so..... My 7 year old got pokemon for Christmas. He jumped in and started capturing pokemon. Problem... he named them all the same name and now needs to change names. How does he do that? Also, how do you move them around between the boxes? We can switch within a box, but can't get them to a different box. The players guide isn't much help. This probably seems absurdly easy, but we really need some help with the basics. Thank you for your time.
Answer: Here we go! Get to Lavender Town (tell me where you're at now and I'll tell you how far to go) and there is a man who will change your nicknames. The box problem goes like this, assuming that you want to move a Weedle from Box 1 to Box 2:
In Box 1: Weedle In Party: Caterpie, Metapod, Squirtle, Pikachu, Spearow, Pidgey In Box 2: Nothing
Question: I've been stuck at seafoam islands forever and they are they only way to get to pallet town and the last gym. If you know how to get out please write back...I have every HM but Fly.
Answer: To get fly, go to the top of cycling road. If you don't have a bike, then push the boulders along into the holes with strength, and use your water pokemon to surf down the current. Don't kill Articuno, you only get one chance to catch him. Anyway, once you're at the top of CR, cut through the bushes and go past the station and into the house. You get fly. Fly to Pallet, and surf down to Cinnabar.
Question: hi, my little brother has both versions of pokemon and he went to his friends house to trade some pokemon and his friend found a pokemon named "missing number" he said he just found it by walking around in the tall grass, no real place, they renamed him to "anything" and traded it to my little brother so now we own him, but we still dont know what he is, for the picture it shows just an ugly messed up square, do you know about this pokemon?
Answer: It's a glitch. DUMP IT. It will screw up your game if you have it for long.
Question: how do you beat the slots
Answer: Last time I checked, you don't beat the slots until you get the Baseball Bat. Just kidding. They are different odds for each machine. Usually the one above the guy in the gym is good.
Question: I admit that I'm deffinently not the best trainer this game has ever seen. In fact I missed the Clefairy, The pokemon that shows up only once And now I am Screwed. But I want to Know Where the water for the guards is. Nothing is Obvious and I am getting (censored). Help please!
Answer: You can get Clefairy more than once. Those are Articuno, Zapdos, Mewtwo, and Moltres that you can only get 1 time. You go to Celadon by means of an underground path and buy Fresh Water at the top of the Dept. Store.
Question: I have a question about the item PP UP, when I try to use it, it says "This is not the time to use that item", when is the time?
Answer: Outside of battle, not in a battle.
