Hello, I am Andrew. I am not a very big fan of fishing games
but once I saw in Nintendo Power that Natsume, the people who
made the great Harvest Moon, were making a fishing/RPG I couldn't
wait. I got the game for Christmas and loved it. Sure it's hard
but all the great video games are supposed to keep you busy!
And now! I have a partner! kaith Mohrmann my fake cousin!
For info on him go to the "Meet Keith" section at the bottom
of this FAQ/Walkthrough!

NOTE!: Read the "IMPORTANT INFORMATION" section!

{1} Story

One day, [insert name here], woke up and found that his sister
had fallen ill. His mother explains that there is only one cure
in all the world. A huge fish called the Guardian. His mother
explained that he must venture out and catch this fish.
[insert name here] goes out equipped with a small hook, some
worms, and a small rod. He must start out small, get better,
and find the Guardian and catch it!

{2} IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

While I don't mind questions, what you should do first is READ THE FAQ
to see if the answer is in there. If it absolutely, 100% isn't in
there, or if you can't understand what I'm saying, then you can email me
about the question you want answered. If you ask me a question when the
answer is in the FAQ, I probably won't reply back. Thank you for your
cooperation.

{9} Walkthrough

Here is the walkthrough made by Keith and only Keith!

Torrent:
First off you need to get some doe. So head over to the stream and
start fishing. Now your best bet is catch some Giant trout. Catch
abou 5, go to the fish store and sell your fish for about 50g each
giving you 250G. Now go buy some supplies at the general store. Now
head across the bridge and go east as far as possible and catch a
Rainbow trout, head back across the bridge and go west and talk to
the guy twice, he'll build a raft. Now this may get annoying but head
back across the bridge, and go in the house now talk to the girl. She
will ask for a Cutterhroat Trout go west as far as possible and catch
one, and head back too her get the lunch give him the lunch and hop in
the raft and go to Lake 1. WARNING!!! Each time you row you lose HP row
only when NEEDED!!!! And try to catch all fish here before moving on!

Lake 1
You start as you helplessly watch your raft crash into a rock.
It so happens that the man next too you is a pupil of the man that
made your raft convenient. Anyway start moving south and talk too the
lady near the bridge she will tell you about the bear blocking the
way to the other side of the river you MUST stop it to continue the
game. You must also catch a T.Stickleback to catch one look at
Andrew's where too catch it section also catch some smelt and get
on your raft and head South until you reach a building with a dude
outside give the dude the Stickleback and go inside and give his
wife the smelt for a lot of G now take the pick catch 1 more smelt
and give it to the mapper after you talk to the kid next to him and
he'll tell you where to go now you are in the stream.

Secret Cave
This level is a pain. Now as soon as you enter head over to the
lake get on the raft and save the drowning man at the north to get a
Fly Rod small with this rod it will be easier to catch Ayu wich you
can sell to a guy for 60G each. After you get enough money 200G to be
exact you can buy the large pail wich lets you hold 16 fish.Get some
more money and buy some lunches. Now the hard part you have, too
catch a P.Chub that is 19cm or longer, also catch an Ayu and talk to
the wizard up on the northeast side of the stream and he will tell
you to get an axe at Lake 2.Head down south past the empty house and
you should see a young lady fishing give her your Pale Chub and she
will open a path to Lake 2 be sure too catch some fish before you
leave. The Guardian is also here but you cant get it now.

Lake 2
You enter through the dam and are taken to town by the
current but, don't forget to talk to the fruit fishing on the bridge
he will ask you to catch 5 killifish do this at the bridge and you
will get a large casting rod.Continue onward too the village and
restock on supplies be careful when fishing many fish steal your
flies now catch a s.gdgdon and w.gdgdon and go all the way west and
north and tak too the axe guy twice he'll give you the axe. Now look
at the section on how to get the windchime.

Windchime
To get the windchime you must talk to the lady next to the one who
wants loaches now go too the stream and catch 3 Ayu of 26cm or more
and give it too the guy in a raincoat and he will go home go back
to the house talk to her again catch a Carp or G.carp and talk to
the kid at the top of the lake 2 town give him what he wants and
go back to the house and give the lady the charcoal she will give
you the windchime now go to the stream and cut down the tree almost
at the north with a rock near it it is the only one you can cut down
anyway go on the pond play the windchime and catch the guardian now
watch the credits play again and save. Now you can fish at torrent
and so forth for fun and when you catch em all (40 kinds) sleep at
an in and go too the lake and there is 1 of every kind of fish
it is known as Fun Lake.

To find out how to get the Guardian read the Secrets section.
