Dear Mr. Bussey
As co-webmaster and co-owner of Gamesurge.com, and responsible for site operations,  I feel it is time I formally introduced myself, and ask a couple of questions on behalf of the website. GameSurge has been part of the GameFan Network since late June, but several problems have arisen that need attention. Ray Lee, the other webmaster here at GameSurge, has bought to my attention several things, and has included a hard copy of the affiliate contract for me to study. It has been decided that since I have 20 years of experience in business, I would be the one to inquire about some points.
Mr. Lee had indicated to me that our revenue check was to have been sent out on the last day of August, but he has yet to receive the cheque, or the accounting statement. If there is a new time frame for our statement, I would appreciate being updated, as we have a time frame for starting the process of advertising for the website. I would also like a clearer explanation on why the cheque cannot be split, with the revenue divided and sent to both of us. Ray was not able to give me a clear explanation on why this is not possible, and in the interest of fairness for all parties concerned, I am asking that you re-send that information to me.
The other part about the ad revenue that I need to speak to you about is the ad banner itself. Under the terms of the contract, we are required to have the banner present on at least 50% of our pages, and on our top 10 most trafficked pages, which we have conformed too, but now, we are facing a problem. The ad banner itself is a Perl pointer line, and will only work on certain HTML formats. I am presently setting up several CGI programs, for which the ad banner will not display on the page. Since these new CGI programs create dynamic pages, and may make up the majority of the site in the future, my concern is we may go under the 50% mark in the future. My other website has a straight HTML code, so there is no problem no matter what format I decide to use, so I am asking if there is a alternate code or HTML shortcut I can use for these new pages. I am also asking on behalf of our network sites, as these sites use .htm and .html pages, and I require them to also conform to the server rules. This is extremely important to us at GameSurge, as I am presently working on spinning off our strategy section into a separate site, and I do not wish to take the time, which could number in the months, to re-code thousands of pages because of the ad banner not displaying. I also will not be using frames for these pages.
The new site itself will not be opened till January, due to the amount of work needed to get it operational, and also because a domain name has to be purchased. I asked Mr. Lee about GameSurge hosting another domain name, and he indicated that this wasn't possible on your server, but he wasn't 100% sure. I would like to stay with one network, so I am asking if this is indeed the case as relayed by Mr. Lee. This new site is a prestige website, and requires a domain name, as opposed to a sub domain, so if it is true GameSurge cannot host another domain website, your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time, and also for putting our link up on your network page, though I must express my disappointment that it has taken two and a half months to do so.. We are presently working on a business plan to increase our promotion of the GameSurge website, and since you have been talking to Mr. Lee, and not to myself, I am not familiar of any affiliate policies for network promotion. If you have any additional information that you can send back, it will be positively received in the spirit of betterment for both our organizations.

Yours Truly
